Our self-contained baby department specializes in care from 3 months to approximately 18 months of age. In order to promote a sense of security the department is sub-divided into three small groups, Minnie's, Donald’s and Wonderland Rooms. Each of these rooms is for up to 6 babies and each has 2 members of staff. The department additionally has two large sleep rooms, a combined kitchen/feeding room, a purpose designed, dedicated changing room and a supervisor’s office.

Whilst your child attends the nursery we try to follow your home routine as far as possible. Please therefore advise us as to preferred sleep and feeding times and any special diet which may be necessary. We carry most major baby foods and once onto solid foods also provide your child (if attending all day or morning sessions) with a cooked lunch according to his or her stage of development. An afternoon snack and nappies are also provided within our fees.

In most nurseries children stay in the “baby” department until they reach 2 years of age and can move to the older group. The requirements of an 18 month old are however obviously far different from those of the very young! At approximately that age children are therefore moved up to Teddy’s Room which is part of our next department - LITTLE RASCALS. This move allows for far more specialization in the type of care which can be given in each department and the degree of stimulation can therefore exceed that which is found in some other nurseries.
